Craft Workshop:
Opening Hours: Monday – Friday 9.30 – 3.30
The craft workshop is run entirely by volunteers who create a wide range of hand made goods, which they sell in the shop and also on the craft stalls, which are held monthly in Fort William town centre. The stalls are well supported by both locals and visitors to the area, with visitors even placing orders for goods to be made and sent on to them. We have recruited 3 more volunteers who have been hand knitting and sewing garments in their own homes for the craft stalls. The volunteers are a very enthusiastic group who take great pride in their work and pleasure in creating a regular income for LAD.
Anyone wishing to have a go at the many crafts on offer can call in and try machine knitting, sewing, crochet, hand knitting, making bookmarks and lots more, relax and enjoy the moment.
